The Spiral is nominated for the 2013 International Emmy Award in the category Digital Program: Fiction. The format was created by P and partners, and makes the fourth Emmy nominated project for the company.

The Spiral is a television drama series following a young group of artists who strive to make their mark, and are pulled into a disastrous turn of events when they decide to steal six classical works of art from museums all over Europe. The productions is highly participatory, with the audience invited to find the paintings in a massive international chase. Six museums collaborated in taking down the paintings and news shows reported on the coup. The Spiral was aired simultaneously in ten territories.

The format for the show was created by The company P, together with the broadcasters SVT and VRT, and produced by Caviar. The participation design was made by P and partners. This years nomination for an International Emmy is P’s fourth project nominated. Previous projects include the 2007 International Emmy Award Winning The Truth About Marika (SVT), 2011 International Emmy Award nomination for Conspiracy For Good (Tim Kring, Nokia), and as transmedia consultant for the 2012 International Emmy Award Winning Endgame.
